I can agree with all of you, i am fed up of playing WOW and the old republic looks awsome, something new and exciting to look forward to :). I used to enjoy playing star wars galaxies till sony messed it up. It seems bioware have taken alot of time and effort to make this game not like WOW which is what interests me alot as i also played lord of the rings and that was not much different from WOW. Hopin i get to beta test as well :D

I agree but don forget we will only hunt bugs nothink more but little gameplay is good!

I am so sick of WOW, can't wait for the KOTOR beta release, love the story, loved the games and now I am ready to pay bucks to play online and continue the crack addition that is Knights of the old republic.. Question is what shall I play? Likely a Jedi but who knows.

It would be a nice change after 6 WHOLE years ( That's right even through NGE =_=) This has been one of my favoured eras it has such a deepening and mysterious story behind it. Amazing progress so far I could wait 'till the real game comes out if it ends up this good ^^

im sure the devs are lookin threw forums and stuff aswell so hopefully we get picked and i can say with no dout seyou all in the testing

hinro u are right numbers are not the importent matter we of the jedi train are wisdom in battle less is not nesicarily a bad thng but i welcome all the light jedi we must stop the siths rise within the galaxy

Don't worry if you don't get picked after this long time, as far as I know no one has been picked so this could take about a couple of months perhaps? Or more coincidentially on the day of the release to the UK this year.

And we wait. I expect that they would start the testing period at the beginning of a month to have a clean schedule. But that's just my opinion.

I've played everquest, world of warcraft, and tried out Star Wars: Galaxies. This beats all three hands down. I've waited for a Star wars MMO for so long I thought Galaxies ruined it forever. Thanks for reviving my spirits Bioware!

I have been waiting so long for a star wars MMO, MMO's are the only games that I think are fun. It is gonna be amazing. Hope I am chosen to test the game, gonna keep my fingers crossed.

I think I can't hold out anymore hehe.

I've read all the things about the game and I want more. Does anybody know when the testing period starts? I haven't started any other game since hearing about SWTOR. I don't even play wow anymore.

I have this feel, that the game will be an EPIC adventure.

Sadly I think most of us are gonna be playing Sith... I'm definitely gonna start Republic but my Darth Maul recreation won't be able to stay away for long...

Man, Bioware. Just one sniff of the testing release will bring so many people to these sites. I doubt the entire INTERNET will hold back the traffic.

Woah, I'm from Spain, and maybe I will be the first one to test this fantastic MMORPG! Hehehe (be sure that I don't do illusions to myself, I know perfectly that ALL we will not get the same chance to test this fantastic MMORPG, D:).

By the way, I have good experience about MMORPGs, like playing World of Wwarcraft a lot (well, I played it, but now I'm so tired, xD). And I can test good the videogames, because 'exploring' them in a lot of senses (like exploring all the 'corners' of all maps/zones, interact with all the NPCs, doing all the extras as I can, searching all the secrets, etc., etc.) is one of my 'specialities'. To sum up: I'm very pacient playing RPGs, not going 'directly' to the main way to complete your progress as you can in a videogame (I'm talking abour RPGs, my favourite type of videogames and very specialized with them).

Well, Bioware Team, I only must to say this at last: Thank you a lot to do a great MMORPG about one of my favourite sagas! We love you a lot! Best wishes and good luck with the rest! :D

A friend of mine has a very good gaming computer. So hopefully he will be chosen so I can try out the game. My computer is not bad, but I would not say it’s very good for thing's such as this.

That's against the NDA, your friend could get into serious legal problems for doing that

Beta testing takes time. They release it to people slowly, so maybe 100 people will be chosen in the first month and then next month more. And so on and so on.

But when you do get called it should be a happy day. :) GL to all!

Why did they bother us whit a sign up for beta when its taking months even years beffor we are going to see the game.

months, yes. Years, certainly not. They're calling release in 2010, so even if the release got pushed back, it may be just over a year. But far more likely, a matter of months.

Out of all the MMO games out there this one is the first that I've really been excited about. I can't wait to start seeing a lot more details about the game. Hopefully as a tester, but still exciting to see stuff on the sidelines as well.

I signed up but i doubt i'll get on my computer isn't... as great as they are most likely looking for but i think it would be awesome to be able to beta as well
