I think this comics have a role,like possible NPC's or classes the game is going to have... who knows?

everyone keeps saying "they said it would be light" in september or october or whatever and "then it will pick up" in regards to the updates. Can anyone tell me where that news came from. I just want to see whatever post/interview/whatever that came from because i cant seem to find it. Thanks

Ah, Veons, but if they give us too much info now then in the final weeks when the hunger for the game is at it's worst, BW will have nothing left to sate our desire to play. Better now to be skimpy then to live a lifetime in the last 2 weeks before the game is release just dieing over that fact that there's no info that sustains us anymore.

well...
I hate to be a bearer of bad news...but..
I am getting bored like crazy on some of this content..I mean..don't get me wrong..I am very happy about what they put out each week..but I guess I am wanting more quantity and quality....I like all of it...but the frequency of say like some of it is slow...
I know that this all needs to be spaced out in order to keep us on track..
but right now...I am contemplating going back to playing some wow and catch up with it on a monthly basis and not daily or weekly like I seem to be doing now..
I mean...I gave up playing wow like almost over three months ago..simply because...well this info was just too good and it seems like wow was turning into a waste of money and time cause I really want to get into Kotor or Tor again...so what I did was replayed my Kotor 1 and 2 all over again and again to reaquaint myself with it all again...you know do what is best for the Jedi Lore...
anyways...that can only be done over and over again for so long...
I guess the biggest thing like everyone one of us would like to get at is more content about gaimplay and character specs and modified training and what not...
I know waiting is going to pay off but getting more and more edgy to getting back to killing Horde with my awesome paladin...it is just pvp is something you have to want to enjoy and damnit...I think I would speak for alot of you...for most MMO's it is a must...
Playing regular rpg like kotor ..you miss that challenge...knowing you can take someone out with your skill who is either a better player than most or is just as wanting to kill the opposite faction just like you...
raid instances was not my big thing...getting into battlegrounds and dominating two or three folks all at once was something that took some skill...
now just speaking on a healing factor...I am thinking all sith and jedi will be able to heal with a variable of how much based on their skill/training ....how potent of the healing can be based on that...
other classes if I want to step in on this...I am guessing every class will be able to heal themselves with Kolto pacs and whatnot if they have it in supply ...
one thing that bothers me the most..when your character dies...would you be relegated offsite to a local controlled Kolto tank and have to hightail it back into the area to keep on fighting ...I guess that will be a factor to worry about or know the best ways to get that aspect done...
battle areas in space will be interesting too..maybe a respawn time out for your ship if it got obliterated in space or something like that...
respawn in a controlled area that you would have to fly back into the fight or something like that..

and speaking of a more progressive type of battle...controlling galactically ..a planet of interest...you know if it is control by the republic..give you access to certain treasures or something like that...who knows....
I keep trying to think of a way how Bioware can out do Blizzard you know...
been a WoW vet for almost three years...and some of it is all the same stuff rehashed over and over again...monotinous...so seeing something in developement and able to put in my two cents into the pot...I think would be nice to point out a couple of things that would be kewl to have or maybe be able to see something that can be put into this game with feedback...
like this...what if your in pvp mode..and that means..you are willing to lose something or to take something from the opposite faction...
penalty meaning that if you get killed ..you lose 10 or 20 percent of your credits..or combination of that and and item copied for the winner...
so I kill a sith..he has some awesome armor...bing bing bing..Loot Loot Loot..I get like hmmm...3000 credits..and say he had a two handed lightsable or a quickdraw blaster...I get to choose all or one or a combinations of it..who knows...
camping is a big problem though...so if you truly own someone ...
of course you would like to milk it like crazy so that is why folks can shut off the pvp or have it automatically shut off with an encounter or something like that who knows...the point is...it would discourage that camping aspect...the kolto tanks would help out on that too...

so if you folks can think of something that can help make this game better that the others out there...great fire away and get the think tank going...
I would really like to see this burn WoW for all they can...the major WoW killer is coming you know...that is all important to someone who really wants to see the bar get elevated higher you know...

I think that PvP and PvE will be separated in this game. Or at least in most areas. U can`t place PvP in pre-made story imo. Well u can to a certain degree like in Tabula Rasa but not in epic kind of story that this will be, again imo.
Healing for classes that are not Jedi will be with stimm-packs, u can see that in the Trooper demo, as he used couple of stimms for self heal during demonstration.
And i do agree with u that it`s gonna be a long wait but then again we all knew that the game wouldn`t be out for at least a year.
Oh btw if u like PvP and not raids why don`t u play GW, its free at least ;).

Some pipl complain about updates, how slow they come and i belive most of us are concerned when actual game (and beta) will be released. Developers need time to work on game not to work on updates. Tho y maybe bioware need to hire more pipl for faster work on this game :)

How much longer are they going to work on this before it comes out its taking way to long release it and update it along the way already

The hype must be kept alive. The comics are interesting for SW fans but doesn't mean much for a gamer in search for a good MMO. People will need much to gave up on the MMOs they are playing at the moment. Even some new photos of Coruscant will do better, I bet there are much to be shown of Coruscant. On the other hand I appreciate the announcements of this and next updates, we know when big updates will take place. But pls give us something to chew on this long weeks, to trick a bit the hunger for TOR.

I would...I agree with the monthly costs...I am sort of tired of knowing that I pay 15 dollars a month all the time...
if I wanted to take a break for a bit or something I would be much more happier knowing I can be rest assured that I come back with no worries of fraud or something...overcharging or stuff like that...
a one time fee would get bioware and lucasarts alot of money fast and make it more popular...
there was a questionare that asked would I want to pay minipayments for play...are you kidding no way...that is compound it more...what if my kid gets on and charges things like crazy..I am like control and sensibility is better...

Well most MMO's are around the $15 mark and 1st year of an MMO tends to lag...but this is Bioware so probably not that much lag unless 1 Bil. players are online lol...for me it is always best to update my computer a tad bit every few years or so to kill any lag for programs.

Well, I bet the game will be rated 12+, so that means many young ppl will play this game and yes 4 or 5 bucks will make the difference.

If bioware's artist have time to whip up a comic then obviously this waiting for the beta is strictly business oriented around the release of the DA: Origins Game, and ME2. The beta should be active now if they have all this free time.

Honestly, though, the comic isn't even game related. We realize it's "fan" Friday, but the fans do not want....a crappy comic. The dialogue/writing is forgettable, the artwork is not too great either, especially on humanoid facial details. It's sketchy and amateurish. Now I realize something is better than nothing, but why do I feel like Simon on American Idol.

I have to agree with many of the comments here... I was disappointed to see a comic installment for an update. Frankly, I'm not really following the comics anyway. I can imagine that the videos take alot of resources to produce (they are by far my favorite updates) and the release of information is a risky business because of the ongoing development of the game. I don't know if you have a preplanned schedule for the friday offerings, but if you do... please add something like a dev blog or even screenshots to the comic issues. I hate to admit it, but I'm probably going to skip even reading them from now on. I've been spoiled with the gameplay footage and class/world information and can't be satisfied with just a comic. Sorry.

I want to know about another planet,class,race,( you rlly need to reveal some races, Human is the only announced race so far) There are so much things. Even a develpers blog.
