Lol,both the empire and the republic have the same themed classes,only the names and a couple minor features are different.Check it out:Spy=Smuggler,Trooper=Bounty Hunter and Sith Warrior=Jedi Knight(if,such a class does come out),this is hypocritical diversity,but even that won't stop me from buying the game.

the only reason the sith used the Mandalorains as adivertion because the Empire hand over streched them self and needed time to build ship , factors , armys and treat woneded and repair there ships .
As well as consolidate the plants that where taken in the first assault 28-30 ago ?

This is a good ploit twist that the Mandalorains had used the sith to start the war with the Republic which will destableize both side so that the Mandalrain can take over the galaxy

And the blockade in the Eriadu system was just for show as they take the goods that have been seesed over the years and put the suff together to build there own armys.

AFTER THIS WAR IS OVER THERE IS NOTHING TO STOP THE MANDALORAINS WILL BE RULERS OF THE GALAXY?

So now im guessing that the Imperial Spy will become a light armor dps...similar to the Smuggler Class of the Republic...Not bad...predictable...but not bad. Makes for some really good story telling on the part of the Empire.

Just out of curiosity, has there been much talk about the impact of selecting different races on character stats?
For example, could a Twi'lek have higher charisma, a Wookie higher strength, etc.?
Or, could it be possible to have certain abilities be race-specific? For example, limiting Force Scream to Ithorians, or at least giving them the highest level of Force Scream? Or perhaps allowing Light-Side Kel-Dor, such as Plo Koon, to use Force Lightning without any penalties?
Just some thoughts. Haven't seen much discussion about race selection.

I hope the new friday update shows the new planet revealed from PAX which was Coruscant......now that trailer was awesome as hell.

Update tomorrow, whats it going to be, lets take some guesses!

If they stay true to KOTOR then it's just different kinds of med packs, taylor made affectiveness in healing depending on how you choose to upgrade yourself, as well as a certain Jedi class, ....there were 3 Jedi classes in KOTOR and one of them were more into talking and healing instead of fighting.

But I don't recall a single class focused solely on healing. Different people in your party had certain skills that the others lacked, but that was because when they joined your group......they already had a high level of something in a certain area.....so everytime you upgraded them, you just increased what they were already good at.

another comic page, and some other bad filler. they never release the good stuff in runs. tragedy. cause i'm really wondering when they'll answer how they're going to do healing in this game. i'm just not convinced like everyone else is that they're going to have dedicated healing classes. it just doesn't sound likely with only 4 classes a side (at least we think it's 4).

This new mandalore looks to much like Mandalore The Ultimate.(cloned perhaps? He he he.) They should have gone with a more unique look. (yello insted of red for instance.)

Well this explains what class the twe'lik in the "Decevied video" class is and I think it will fill the thrid slot for the sith. Still not sure on the Mandalorians. It says some stayed and some went back on there own. I would assume this means there doing the right thing ,, Solider/trooper and bounty hunter is there bit giving them a chance to play for both sides. I hope we can here more about the races soon instead of just theory and rumors. But the Team of TOR is definatley doing a good job of giving us a setting rife with intrigue and conflict.

In KOTOR the Mandalorians had stealth ability, and the only way you could see them was if you had someone on your team with a high stealth level.

It would be cool if one could play as an independant class.....neither Republic nor Sith Empire......that would be cool.

Mandalorians are probably going to be in the storyline at one point ^^ I so wana fight one...and live lol. Also knowing typical MMO NPC placing, Mandalorians will probably be hanging out on a certain planet or location in space. Can't be a Star Wars game w/o Mandalorians being mentioned in the story lol. What I do hope though, is that Bioware will allow us to craft and/or loot TOR era Mandalorian Armor/Weapons so that players would be happy, but they can make it a challenge too so it isn't a handout hehe.

Nice work from the empire intelligence service...if this goes on the republic will bow before the Sith sooner or later.
This new Mandalore will be a bit more difficult to control though...

I just had a thought. You know that Twi-lek chick in the "Deceived" vid? Maybe she was an Agent. That would make sense. What classes have we seen on that vid? Sith Warrior, Sith Force-Adept, Jedi (unknown), Agent, Bounty Hunter, and Troopers... and that's it. Notice also that the Agent didn't do much in combat. All she did was watch the Sith dude wipe out the troopers in the beginning. Then she hid behind a wall, occasional shooting. B-O-R-I-N-G.

The sith assassins don't use force chock, lighting or lightsaber. They only use the force to see others through the force. This makes them different from the sith. But I must agree with you, they could just release the other classes :D

i'm not trying to argue with you but sith assassin's are force sensitive but besides that you do have a point. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_Assassin to bad they just don't release all the classes so there doesn't have to be discussion about it.

I saw the video. They didn't said that the game will have another force user sith with lightsaber. It can be a sith assassin or a sith soldier, not necessarily a force focused sith.

I am sure there are not going to have a force adept sith. If you play as a sith warrior you can choose if you want to be focused on force or lightsaber. would be a waste if they create another force user for the empire, I am sure they are more creative.

But the Twi'lek in the 'Deceived'-trailer is Bioware's hint to the Companion-system that will be featured in their game.

Not a hint towards a new class.

Bad news... no Mandalorian. It is a POSSIBILITY... but very unlikely. Yeah, I know. It sucks. If you look at the Sith Warrior concept art, it shows Sith in battle armor. Then, look in the media tab for concept art. You'll see a different picture that shows black Sith ROBES. Mandalorian WOULD be the opposite of a Trooper, but that slot is taken by Bounty Hunter. Just like Agent balances out Smuggler. There will be two types of jedi, and two types of sith.

There are not going to have 2 jedi classes and 2 sith classes!!!!!!! That would be a waste!

Ok, not to be a jerk, but stop thinking that Mandalorian is a class lol (this goes out to all people who want Mandalorian as a class). The most you can get to Mandalprian gamplay was on SWG where you can craft Mandalorian Death Watch Bunker armor, which is very annoying and costly :P And just to remind ya the class set up and everythign has been finished for some time lol so the only thing that will be added in to the game is the occasional updates after it is released.
