i have a theroy... maybe jedi and sith are playable but dont count as a class. i hope im right cause that would mean more classes.

Not meaning to step on any toes, but does anyone else find it slightly silly that there are guilds trying to recruit and we arent even aware of the release date?

I do, not just because we dont know the release date, but also we dont even know what the game plays gonna be like! How guilds will be set up, how you'll spend "credits", and even about the other classes/races. Heck we dont even know if they'll have mounts (I wouldnt doubt it though). So yes I do find it silly, but it is best to get to know the guild mates you'll be spending time with or just to take a look at all the guilds. Besides when open beta comes out it'll give us a good look at the guild system (most likely).

ok i know this is my third post in a row but i am really sure this will release in 2009. i saw a bunch of sources pointing to a 09 release. i can only remember one: amazon had a pre order for tor saying it would ship in 2009. if it isn't out by 2009 it'll almost definitely come out no later than march 2010. plz spread the word.

ok here is my other example: bill dalton, the bioware technical director, said tor is scheduled to ship in 2009. well actually they called it the "unidentified bioware mmo" but the only known bioware mmo is tor.

I wouldn't count on that too much. Amazon is notorious for making up their own release dates entirely independent of the companies manufacturing and distributing the products. I have a feeling that Bioware isn't even sure yet of when the game is going to be released.

Has not anyone paid attention to the Voice Over MMO vid It had space and internal ship as well as other battlerfronts. So I am concluding it will have all of that as it would not be Star Wars with out Space Battles with invading forces taking on ships to capture or destroy them. Also, Black Horse comics did a spread many years ago that hinted to both jedi and sith working together and that something broke them apart and started this whole war between Jedi and sith. I would like that discussed and possibly finding some of these rogue ships that had jedi and sith in Carbon Freeze for Hyperspace travel intact. The knowledge that could be gained from either could be invaluable to either side.

well, in the voiceover vid, there was a section on a sith ship under attack by republic ships. i think that indicates space combat.

If they do plan to have space combat, it wouldn't necessarially make the game be delayed even more. They could have been working on it from the beginning. However, I have no idea whether they did that or not.

Space Combat I don't think will be involved unless it's an expansion for a bit later after launch after all the amount of thing already going into the game would only make it delayed even more.

they haven't said anything about that, i think not though, there is too much in it already enough as it is

Yeah i would sorta think a gray jedi would be a neutral jedi not with the sith or the jedi order just someone on their own not trying to doing anything for either side
