Hehe, true-true. Two more friday's exactly. But you know it wouldn't be lucky to release the first issue on friday the 13th... |

Has anyone given the thought that the new Darth Sith might still be Revan. Or that may it is the exile, who became Revan's apprentice and then killed him when she had no use for him? The force can prolong lives. |
The Exile was in Revan's army during the battle on Malachor V during the jedi civil war. Revan went in to self imposed exile after the war. so therefor the exile from KotOR II as far as i know did not kill Revan |
This game just keeps getting better and better i cant wait for it to come out! |
when i first became aware of this games development i thought it was going to be a cool, free of lore restrictions game that would tell us the story of the true sith and even the fate of revan and the exile. |
When I heard a new Star Wars MMO was in the works I thought "didn't Galaxies Bomb?" |
ill have a tatooine sunrise lol |
This is damn cool! I can't wait. I did buy the entire KOTOR series, twice(one for my brother). You gals/guys are awesome. |
I tried replying before, website kept giving me login issues. |
however i will take the time to read this comment wen i have a moment |
Codo, we want a high quality game so we dont want it to be rushed. So prepare to cry yourself to sleep because it wont be for atleast another year. But what they should do is release what classes or species we'll be playing. Judging from the development article "We had to take each class to make a enviroment reaction for it", or something like that. So technically they have all the classes ready |
im sick of this. relese the dam game already. o i have an idea. evryone lets go on evry page of this site and start type ''give us the game!'' |

This should be cool. I read the oher Star Wars comics and they are great so hopefully this will to. |
Wow. And it looks like its free. |
will Yoda be there? |
but maby his grandfather |
No you ignorant fool, In the movie "The Return of the Jedi" Yoda is around 900 years old. And other fans knows what that happens to him. And This is 3 0 0 0 YEARS before the rise of Darth Vader, AKA Anakin Skywalker. So, simply. NO, Yoda will not participate in this game. ^_^ |
Awesome! Looking forward to knowing what happened these last 300 years, getting introduced to new characters, and then seeing those characters & events again in the game! Excellent idea Bioware/Lucasarts, you are rly a phenomenal team. |
Great stuff, can I get an early request in for an RSS feed? The 'myspace presents' (http://www.myspace.com/darkhorsepresents) and clone wars comics don't appear to have one which makes keeping track of a new release a bit of a pain. ;) Gift. |
Sweet!!!!!! I'm just as excited as everyone else is with this!!! |

This news is incredibly exciting. With the greatest respect to my fellow TOR and general Star Wars fans, Fan Fiction can be a great, and terrible, experience. But the notion that we will bare witness to Stories, Characters, and locations to be revealed in game and brought to us by those responsible for the MMO itself is just a thing of Rapture. Often in MMOs, it is an easy mistake to introduce grand figures in the game's mythology without really taking the time to give us an understanding of who these people really are. What chain of events, both heroic and tragic, transpired to shape them into the people they are when at long last our paths converge. The same can be said for locations, planets, cities, etc. An undertaking such as the forthcoming Online Comic with be a solid remedy for that. Though a grand number of us have had the privledge of playing KotOR in some form or another, some new blood coming into TOR when it launches may have not had such an opportunity for whatever circumstance. The Online Comic project will give those few an opportunity to be introduced to a place all too similar to the Galaxy Far Far Away introduced to us by George Lucas, yet possessing a feel all its own. Given that this series will be overseen by the powers and great minds at Bioware I have no doubt that it will return us, in great detail, to the events set in motion by the Mandalorian Wars and the rise, fall, and return of Darth Revan. I sit in great anticipation. Thank you for this, Bioware and Dark Horse. |
I could not be happier about this news, really. These comics, I hope, will help "flesh out" some of the details about SWTOR a little faster then what we're seeing here (characters, setting information, etc). |

Nice! |
Nice to see BioWare and Dark Horse playing nice after the whole Sunrider naming incident with KotOR 1. |

Really sweet! Professionally done and i really like it! Keep it up! Thank you. |

I, for one, am completely blown away about this. When I first heard the rumors about another SW MMO, in my mind, it was like "Oh god, not another SWG, the last one was good until the NGE, and since has pretty much died" Then I see the official announcement that SW:ToR was being made. I almost creamed my pants. When I heard they were basing it on the KoTOR franchise, I came even closer to creaming my pants. Then I see these "sneak peak" being released and all I can say is. GET ME SOME TP CAUSE I'M GETTING REAL CLOSE TO CREAMING MY PANTS! OK.. in all seriousness. This game, my friends, is the WoW killer I have been looking for. Yes, this will definately kill WoW, for me anyways. Too add a web-comic to introduce the gamers to SW:ToR is absolutely priceless. I have played every BioWare game to date and I must say, BioWare are awesome story-tellers. They know how to make a good RPG and keep the suspense going with the "Each Decision You Make Affects You" mechanics with alternate game endings based on your choice throughout the game. This is truly going to be an Epic journey. |
Dimiana I felt the same way when I first heard about a new sw mmo But after i saw some pics and story and figured out that bioware and lucas arts teamed up I said to myself ...WoW WILL DIE. |
there is a gaming god and thy name is bioware AHAHAHAAHA!!!... but seriously thank you guys, as a gamer of all types of games from FPS to RTS, i thank you from the pit of my very soul for what you are doing for the MMO endustry and for games in general... LONG LIVE BIOWARE! |
I don't know why people hate SWG so much. PRE-NGE was amazing, but post NGE is fun too. The game is so awesome still. It's not stupid and not sucky. It's combat system is no different than WOW. Being lvl 90 doesn't mean anything anymore, its about running all the instances and getting the best buffs and equipment. I dunno, it's all opinions but i still LOVE SWG... This game looks as if it will be just as good and graphicaly better. I just HOPE HOPE HOPE that the combat system is not like KTOR 2 and moves faster and more realisticly. I can't play a game if im just sitting at the computer pushing a random button and watching a fight, i want to click my mouse to hit and numbered special attacks. That's what i love about mmo's |
Wonderful, wonderful...I see the death of WOW :) |
I think the comic will go a long way in connecting SwTOR with the original KotOR and explain a lot about what has been going on during the 300 years since the original game. However I would like to know if KotOR 2 will have any influence on the story line of this. I think I would be nive if Bioware can repair the story line after pandemics brief hold on the reins (no offence pandemic but KotOR 2 just wasnt finished and it left a lot of holes with regards to storyline. I think this comic will be good but i personally do not beeive it will be enough to cover 300 years of timeline I hope they put out a novel as well and hopefully show us what we need 2 know before the game comes out. Bioware as always I am super happy with all your work keep it up. :) |
Ahh I must have misread that.. thank you for the clarification |

Dimiana Sun, 02/08/2009 - 04:00 Only problem with this is that this game is taking place 3000 years before the first Kotor, so Kotor 2 technically hasn't existed yet story line wise ok not to be a stickler just a correction. the timeline is 300 years after kotor 2 and 3000 years before the movies and darth vader. Just thought i would mention that. |
