It's just a multitude of recycled lines like that that give the webcomics this cheesey taste.

Nalis, all your posts are either dissing on the comic or talking about why Jar Jar Binks was actually cool. Why would I listen to a word you say? This comic is great. Bioware and Dark Horse deserve a big "thank you" for putting this together... btw, is it going to be in print?

A brief history before this....

The Mandalorian war waged a terrible toll on the Old Republic. Their limited troop supply was dwindling. Even though the Senate begged the Jedi to help they refused. Finally, when all hope seemed lost, two Jedi, Malak and Revan led an army of Jedi on the mandalorian army.Under the Jedi onslaught the tide turned and victory was claimed for the O.R. But then Malak found a way to use the force to manipulate the Jedi sodiers he led, turning them to the dark side. These were the first sith. They waged a new war with the Republic, one that was barely won. The sith were believed gone. We were wrong.....

Yeah, no, sorry. I appreciate what you're trying to do there, but you're wrong. The Sith predate KOTOR by thousands of years. They were a race of people found by some ex-patriot Jedi who left the order to embrace the Dark Side. The Jedi declared themselves rulers of the Sith people, or Sith Lords, and turned the entire race to the Dark Side of the Force tainting them and their planet. KOTOR even mentions that the Sith in the game aren't real Sith because the Sith were extinct and the Sith of KOTOR's era simply followed an ideal.

True, in KOTOR, the original sith are of another race, the fallen jedi just took there name.

The first Sith weren't Revan, Malak and their followers.
And they didn't corrupt people by using the force (Except torture :P), most people just joined them because they were the "winning" side.

Bioware can take all the time they Need I guees as long as this game turns out as good as the past KoToR games expt online of course.

i wish they would spend all the time on the game and less time on the comic, finish the comic when the game is on the shelves in stores

You're already complaining about stuffs, and the game wasn't released yet!

The guys are trying to create an atmosphere, this is called IMMERSION! A lot of you don't even know what is that!! They are creating a complete background for this game, which is declared a story driven MMO!!! The advantage of the KOTOR games were that it wasn't just a shooter, but it has GOOD content!

So the story is essencial and they are doing a perfect job with the movies, the cartoons, maybe future books! That's the right way to create a REALLY GOOD GAME!!

Give them a credit, please!!

Um, comic'shroom, the comic is being done in conjunction with Dark Horse by comic book artists. I'm pretty sure the game designers aren't taking valuable time out of their busy Old Republic designing day to create a comic.

No one can answer because the game isn't even finished being made yet. It's not coming out until well into 2010 as is mentioned REPEATEDLY all over this damn website.

I found myself in the same situation, did you get any answer? Can anyone tell us a guess about average system requirements for the game?

I love how they have the Mon Cal Senator dude say, "It's a Trick". This way we can see how Mon Cal oration skills have evolved from the old republic to the rebellion when Admiral Ackbar utters his famous line....

People, has anyone of you ever heard word "canon"? It is official story created by LucasArts, so thre wouldnt be discussions like "Was Revan male/female?" , "Was The Progenitor on Manaan killed?" , etc., and canon clearly states that Revan was Light Sided Male and that he redeemed Bastila during the battle on Star Forge.

You know, I've been thinking, you COULD make sequels better, in a way. I've never played KOTOR 2, so this is just an idea. What if one of the the first things you see in KOTOR 2, was Bastila. She could have died in KOTOR 1, though. A good dialogue could remove this problem.
"Bastila? But I killed you on the Star Forge! I even saw it blow up!" (Bastila is a ghost, and she haunts you the rest of the dialogue.)
"Hello, Bastila. How's the ship doing?" (Bastila lived, she is still with you.)
"How's it going, dear?" (The character did romance quest with Bastila.)
It kind of works, huh?

Just an idea...What if they make a KOTOR 3 and the sith that sacks the jedi temple is the son of revan and bastila in the dark side ending and the twi lek could be old mission vao or something.

Setale CAN'T be Revan's descendant. What if when you played KOTOR, you were a girl!? Huh? What if you never fell in love with Bastila? Huh? There are too many different ways it could have happened in KOTOR. No, it doesn't even say that.

I bet that if they make a collector's edition of TOR, then they'll include the webcomic in a printed version. I bet the mini comic they gave out at SDCC was a test to see if anyone was really interested in having a physical copy of it.

honestly Jedi and Sith more than 99% likely will actually be a starting class and honestly there isn't anything wrong with that. Most people automatically overestimate how strong these two are because of what they've seen them do in movies and video games but they were central in those. A jedi Can be killed Just like anyone else they aren't immune to blaster bolts. Not only that whats been seen on screen are usually Very high ranking Very powerful gifted jedi. Not ever force user is that strong. Have you seen how fast the Scrub jedi knights die. in this game so far it looks like whatever class you pick You are the best of the best top dog A top dog Trooper could wreck a jedi of lower class in a heart beat and could easily take on jedi of his own prestige. force user does not mean invincible despite what people might believe.

If it wasnt for whoever colored this I would hate this comic...the colors are nice but the anatomy is **** I think I could do A MUCH BETTER job lol the figures are extremely scratchy looking and sloppy too.
