Looks great

This apears to be a Republic controled stockpile. For one, the colors and architecture indicate the Republic, in addition the sentry tower on the left is in the concept art as a Republic Sentry Tower. Seems like a good counter to the Balmora Sith base. Keep up the good work Bioware!

I hope everyone agrees when i say....PVP will be Roleplayed. No Computer slang, Just Star Wars Nerd Roleplaying

looks like a great base of operations, really its a great place to fight over territory, and has great potential for rallying allies to fight.

... but then again can you trust those allies?

Wed, 10/21/2009 - 08:17

This looks like it has potential to be a contested PvP area, where the holder has a percentage of their weapon damage increased, or maybe you get more exp from killing monsters, kind of like Wintergrasp in World of warcraft.

Which would be pretty awesome, that would add a lot to the area. being able to capture the area after an hour or two of the enemy having it. But by the looks of the other screen shots, the empire have the upper hand of this planet...

I saw some comments mentioning Space battles and air/land battles, this weapon factory (or whatever it is) looks like it would be a GREAT place for that kind of thing. but space battles might not be in the minds of the developers atm. But air/land battles sure it, could be done. they could have siege weapons to take the area back or defend it.

But who knows, cant wait to find out.

agreed however kotor wasnt known for its space battles game play they might not have it at all

Space Flight will most likely be an expansion - reason for Bioware to make more money and not to rush with new concept of the game which can bring more bugs. I think they'll release a surface game first with some occasional sessions related to quests inside of the ships in space, but the space flight itself will most likely come out in 1-2 years after the core game is released.

Tue, 10/20/2009 - 20:03

flying through space would be cool.

Tue, 10/20/2009 - 18:03

Is it just me or do the towers on the right resemble those from the Hoth base in tESB?

Mon, 10/19/2009 - 23:07

They have to Include space.....

Mon, 10/19/2009 - 13:14

It would be cool if some of the planets had varying gravity. Think of the possiblities, advantages and disadvantages for different classes, races, droids, and vehicles (if they are in game of course)

I wonder if they will include "space"? Maybe like SWGs did add it on later or something.

Mon, 10/19/2009 - 02:10

Land vs Air Fights! AWESOME! That would be so SOOOOOOOOOO Fun, Like Air-Strikes, and Jedi's Jumping on top of enemy Fighters and taking them over! And im sure there will be lots of Tank-Like Weapons and Turrets, And Vehicles with Blasters on them.

See? Ideas like this is why you want to take a LONG time developing a game
Because you never know when you'll wake up with an Awesome idea that you were stupid not to think of before.

Imagine every possible piece of Content that you could use in a War

. Especially for Jedi, Since The Jedi are Melee fighters, they need to be well-thought out on combat. Alot of Force moves too. And Effective, but not so effective that theyre impossible to beat

The way i see it. a Jedi Should be HARD to get to Knighthood with. But when you DO get there your incredibly tough

Looks epic. Balmorra shall serve our battles quite well... Especially for the Sith.

Sat, 10/17/2009 - 09:02

i can't shake the feeling that there is a spaceport here. There is one on Coruscant as well. I wonder if it is leading up to space

Sat, 10/17/2009 - 04:09

Sat, 10/17/2009 - 03:12

Wow... Maybe we can Land vs Air fight here .. That would be amazing!

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 23:38

I hope so, but not like SWG cause that system sucked ;)
Ps. U sith scum are going to get your asses kicked :D

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 20:34

Looking great! The detail and the style in the environment is just impressive.

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 20:09

@Lord_Blackrose - the comments section really isn't the place to advertise your guild. BioWare has asked the community to flag guild ad posts.

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 20:06

ha, the two mountains in the middle are the exact same structure and cut, just slightly turned. Look at them, same jagged edges at certain spots. It's okay though, I am sure they'll change it up a little before release date. I just don't like seeing identical objects that should not be identical.

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 19:35

does the empire currently control these stockpiles?

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 19:16

nice homey feel to the world =) lovin it

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 19:02

The sky is really impresive, and so is the whole landscape. This is getting better and better...

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 19:00

A big, vast place to explore...full of adventure.

Fri, 10/16/2009 - 17:39

Uh nice scene. Hope that we'll have a lot of pvp! :P
