looks like a cross between the old republic cruisers and an Imperial walker...not a very smooth design, lots of weak points...

It does look awesome, but you have to take into account that this is earlier in star wars history, so they wouldn't have perfected and smoothed out there vehicles, take into account cars from the 70's jagged and strange looking, to cars now smooth aerodynamic and awesome.

Tue, 10/20/2009 - 22:22

looks kool however a rocket to the front legs and its screwed

Sat, 09/19/2009 - 19:19

oh yeahhhhh, cant wait to drive one of those bad boys

Sat, 10/17/2009 - 16:09

*beep* What are you looking at? Climb in *****pit, I'm just a mechanic

Wed, 08/05/2009 - 01:10

I think one of our trooper quests is going to involve these... :)

Sun, 07/26/2009 - 22:28

looks like an early version of the Juggernaut.

Sun, 07/12/2009 - 03:54

Ya, looks a bit slow but holds alot of troopers, "Hut, hut, hut, hut".

Tue, 06/23/2009 - 22:36

Will there be like actual battles that troopers have to go to and will that be computers driving those things?

Wed, 06/17/2009 - 23:35

watto pimp my ride baby! ...lol wait hes not alive yet...guess we will have to improvise...

Fri, 06/19/2009 - 07:12

i could use a tow cable and tie that up, now that would be cool to see skaionex blow up in there

Mon, 06/01/2009 - 11:16

My old mustang will smoke that thing!

Sat, 05/23/2009 - 20:59

the rear hatch animation suggests it can be accesible from behind, you can get in with couple of friends to the desire location, im hoping to see this transport vehicules taking you to pvp battlefields and the equivalent of instances at the game. also it can be made to travel enemy ocuppied planets to avoid ambushes and above lvl cretures.

Thu, 05/14/2009 - 20:12

Those feet, they are massive. Although i love thedesign it does seem a little too slow to be a troop transport, itd be more suited for a battle role. Leave troop transportation to faster hover or track vehicles.

Sun, 05/10/2009 - 17:33

Looks like a ship from KOTOR 1 and 2 and put some legs on it.

Sat, 04/11/2009 - 17:16

Umm, where's the gun on this thing?

Wed, 04/08/2009 - 10:27

Yeah, the back leg seems weird. Looks like that beetle that Japanese love so much. Where's the cannon on that thing? And i thought i saw a biped walker for the sith empire?

Wed, 04/01/2009 - 00:55

what usually destroys turelly epic vehicles is when they fall of cliffs, andi don't see many coming back from those cliffs.SSoooo i want to see them when they fall of cliffs have gyro stabelisers that magnetises them to the ground wether there sideways or not and climb back up to fight a nother day

Mon, 03/30/2009 - 17:01

im sorry, but i think the republic troopers look a little bit too much like clones. but that aside, it would be interesting to have a rupiblic trooper or a sith trooper as a character class. hmmmm... also, it would be fun to have to fight vehicles as a jedi or a sith. you could see how effective a vehicle really is against troopers.

Tue, 03/24/2009 - 18:28

i think it could have an mg type gun on it or the side maby, i don't see eny guns atole

Mon, 03/23/2009 - 16:54

looks really good.

Mon, 03/16/2009 - 17:02

looks like an AT TE

Fri, 03/20/2009 - 16:59

looks like it can take a beating at least

Mon, 03/16/2009 - 15:31

I would get rid of the back leg- or match it to have the inverse legs like the other 4.

1) Practical reason- the leg would get in the way of the ramp when it drops down, which also I think would effect collision in game.

2) Something like this- if I was going to add a weapon, I would have it more like artillery than a point-blank shot. Also the rear dropping down to unload troops- I would personally use supports that you would see on a backhoe loader for example. http://www.cat.com/cda/layout/cda/layout?m=172964&x=7&f=291945 . As in this example the back supports drop down.

Mon, 03/16/2009 - 13:52

i can just imagine one of these babys in a big PVP raid

ME+50 OTHER GUYS IN THE BACK WILL OWN EVERYTHING

Fri, 03/06/2009 - 06:17

Sat, 02/21/2009 - 19:39

Sat, 02/21/2009 - 07:04

Shotgun!!!

Thu, 02/12/2009 - 22:07

hey i wonder if you can drive that thing in the game that would be awesome to drive that i hope you can drive star ships too that would be awesome

Thu, 07/09/2009 - 00:52

clones are definantly the sickest things in star wars. i hope you can take one of those into battle. and yea u can start as a republic trooper

(sorry about that other guy it was supposed to be in this one)

Wed, 03/25/2009 - 13:54

hey wait, do you like the clones as well? if you can be a republic soldier, would you join as a soldier too?

Sun, 02/08/2009 - 18:57

I like how they kept the look of the hammerhead-class *****pit for this transport.

In terms of "mounts" they should have a large array of vehicles to choose from, this is the star wars universe after all. Speeders, grav tanks, speeder bikes and WALKERS. They could have places where you need to drive through to do quests and have to fight your way through ambushes and what not. Maybe not award exp for those kills though, just all part of the fun of star wars life. Geez, you know I look at this game and get all giddy, but what are my kids going to be playing when im 50?? That is if I give them a turn :)

Mon, 02/02/2009 - 21:44

Please tell me you can jump ontop of these things and start hacking it to bits with your lightsaber!

Thu, 01/29/2009 - 02:41

I think it'd make SWTOR much better if they added some vehicles! I would totally get some troopers in these things and do some missions, or PVP.

Wed, 01/28/2009 - 20:06

Sweet. Looks very Republic-ish and military. Somewhat reminiscent of the AT-TE. Don't know if that was the look they were going for or not.

Wed, 01/28/2009 - 18:16

LOOKS THAT IT HAS A WEAKNESS NOT VERY SAFE FOR A TROOPER.

Wed, 02/11/2009 - 22:20

yeah and i think it looks cool but i cant see any weapons it would kinda stink if you traveling in that thing and got ambushed with no weapons

Tue, 01/27/2009 - 04:45

Wow, I can't imagine riding in one of those things in PVP cause that would be awesome. And to think thousands of years later people would figure out that using wheels is more effective than legs.

Sun, 01/25/2009 - 18:10

I would love to get to pilot one of those babies.

Fri, 01/23/2009 - 02:49

woah this is radical in all i could imagine from all this art. From seeing this star wars may be able to have its name dragged out of the mud FINALLY! HAPPINESS GLEE

Mon, 01/19/2009 - 01:04

Ну ну подивимося як це буде виглядати в самій грачці :)

Wed, 03/25/2009 - 13:58

Sun, 01/18/2009 - 03:41

omg i hope you do a transport similar to a republic gunship, would be sweet =]

Wed, 03/25/2009 - 13:59

yah a gunship would be cool.

Mon, 01/19/2009 - 12:38

yes it seems very similart to a AT-AT from the clone wars, like how they are meshing in story lines, old republic and republic have same transports almost!

looking 4ward 2 da game!! fasterrr!!!

Tue, 01/13/2009 - 01:31
