Player Housing? | 10.21.2008 , 04:31 PM
I would love to see that, but I suspect we won't in this style of MMO.

But possibly we might see apartments of sorrts or something we could call home in the world of the Old Republic!

What do you lot think?

It was in SWG... most original SWG developers were moved to bioware...

Dont count housing out yet!

Let's hope! Player housing in SWG really created a sense of community and gave you so much more to do/explore.

I'm really hoping for housing too. I don't expect it to be like SWG's housing, but just a place to call home is all I like. If we can have player shops, that's a bonus too.

I agree..It was the ONLY thing after NGE that made me come back to it time and again.

Whereas I don't think a free housing/city creating system works very well (like it did on SWG) I certainly would like to see personal apartments and the like.

housing yes plz | 10.21.2008 , 04:34 PM
It is imperative we have housing, but more controlled than the urban sprawl we saw pop up outside large cities in SWG. Housing, crafting and adventure (i.e. "sandbox style") give people lots of play options which keeps them subscribing!

I loved the fact that cities appeared out of nowhere and some became famous on certain servers.

Is that true? about some of the original SWG Developers are working on the game.... is that a good thing or a bad thing lol!
