I love Star Wars, but I never considered myself a true fan. I know that there are plenty of you out there and I am just curious what gives you that status--just in case I want to be a part of your ranks one day. So, what makes you a true Star Wars fan?

I have attempted to read all the books and play all the games (THERE ARE SO MANY, IT'S SO HARD!!!) but what makes me a true fan is that I actually WANT to read all of them!

In the past two nights me and my girlfriend have played the forced unleashed, lego's starwars, watched episode V and waited in line for 30 minutes in an attempt to get an old but working copy of Kotor (of course they had the case but no game... bs). Besides that I only started reading books recently but I have already read 4 and am going to start working again on the 5th.

I'm not sure what it means to be a true fan. Fan, fanatic I guess they are one in the same. Well here goes. I read the books I watch the movies a couple of times a year. Everyday I come to websites like this one to see news about it or discuss with other fans. I play the video games and I read and collect the comics. I have a Jedi costume that I wear every Halloween. I duel with lightsabers with my toddler and I tape The Clone Wars whenever it is on. Do I consider myself a true fan? I guess but no more than the person who just enjoys the movies for what they are. If you like, you like it. Your a fan. If you don't like it then you are not a fan. I don't want to be long winded here, but lol. If all you want to do is sit around and go on and on about what you don't like about SW then I guess you're not a true fan. But I've already said my peace about that. Cheers!
